Join us for the presentation of the first German edition of Isozaki Arata’s writings, Das Japanische in der Architektur (Japan-ness in Architecture)! Editor Ulf Meyer and translator Nora Bierich will provide insight into the history behind the creation of this volume.
In the subsequent panel discussion with museum founder Reinhard Ernst, editor Ulf Meyer and translator Nora Bierich, Japanese influences in architecture will be discussed using the example of the Reinhard Ernst Museum in Wiesbaden. The discussion will be moderated by art historian Eva Authried, Head of Education at the Reinhard Ernst Museum. The book will be available to purchase and sign at the shop.
The event is held in cooperation with the Consulate General of Japan in Frankfurt am Main.
