Our pedagogically trained art educators accompany the group through Fumihiko Maki&#8217;s spectacular architecture and the Reinhard Ernst Collection \u2013 using a variety of methods and a playful approach.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"col col-custom-2\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Adapted to the lives of children and young people, the social and art-historical background of our collection is made understandable: abstract art from 1945 onwards in the USA, Europe and Japan.<\/p>\n<p>Click on our offers below for further details on the content and to book an appointment.<\/p>\n<p>We would be happy to work with you to determine how the visit can be integrated into your individual school curriculum. Is their own inner voice losing the race for attention and audibility? The voice that asks: What kind of world do you dream of? What would the world look like if you could paint it in your own colours? Where does it draw you and why?<\/p>\n<p>Then bring your students to our morning workshop! In this special format, we explore our own questions, inner desires and values and let ourselves be inspired by courageous artists on a tour of the mre. Together, we discover connections to our own lives and learn about and understand the theme of abstraction through the originals in the collection. In the so-called &#8216;projects&#8217;, the elective mandatory courses in grades 9 and 10, the students deal with abstract painting in theory and practice. At &#8216;mre in action&#8217; in July 2022, the two courses experimented with colour and material in a spectacular live happening on Wiesbaden&#8217;s town square, modelled on the Japanese artist group Gutai.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In February 2025, the <a href=\"https:\/\/email.museum-reinhard-ernst.de\/erinnerung-pressetermin-kunstaktion-auf-dem-wiesbadener-schlossplatz-enth%C3%BCllung-der-kunstwerke-1?ecid=&amp;utm_source=hs_email&amp;utm_medium=email\">second project<\/a> took place. In collaboration with Gymnasium Michelstadt, pupils on the advanced art course created abstract artworks to adorn the enclosure around the monument to William of
