This location, personally chosen by the museum founder, Reinhard Ernst, provides the perfect setting for the sculpture duo <em>Pair<\/em>, allowing it to integrate effortlessly with the building&#8217;s architecture.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, Reinhard Ernst visited Tony Cragg in his studio, marking the beginning of a special collaboration to create a bespoke piece for the Museum Reinhard Ernst. While many works exhibited at the museum already come from the founder\u2019s collection, several pieces have been specially commissioned for the new building\u2014including the bronze sculpture, <em>Pair<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tony Cragg designed this artwork for a multi-story niche within the museum. But how does such a towering sculpture come to life?
