The Reinhard Ernst Museum (mre) is transforming into a place of discovery: come and join us on Saturday 5 September 2026, from 11 am to 6 pm, for the first mre Family Day. A varied programme invites everyone to embark on an adventure and discover the worlds of abstract art. We are delighted to welcome the Muckels from Taunus Wunderland as our special guests.
11.00 am: Museum opens
11.30 am: Tonies® children’s tour (approx. 60 minutes), meeting point in front of the Colour Lab
From 12 noon: Moby-Dick painting workshop for children and adults, in front of the main entrance
12.30 pm: Colour in Motion – Family Time (60 minutes)
2.00 pm: Tonies® children’s tour (60 minutes)
3.00 pm: Colour in Motion – Family Time (60 minutes)
4.00 pm: Tonies® children’s tour (60 minutes)
All day long: action and experimentation in the Colour Lab, a reading corner and imaginative model-making in the Maki Forum
