Colour Lab

The heart of our art education operations is located in the foyer of the museum. Researchers of all ages can try their hand at all sorts of digital experimental stations in our Colour Lab.

Located behind Katharina Grosse’s spectacular work on glass, intrepid visitors are offered challenges, some of which require speed and movement while others demand greater focus and concentration on colour and shapes.

The Colour Lab is reserved exclusively for school classes and other learning groups during the week. However, on Saturdays from 29.6.24, the Lab is open to anyone who wants to explore the almost boundless world of painting.

Schools

Everything revolves around the colour lab – our extensive programme for schools and other educational groups invites you to explore, discover and marvel.
