Discover the concepts and design elements of Fumihiko Maki’s diverse architecture in our temporary exhibition Fumihiko Maki and Maki & Associates – Towards Humane Architecture. Following on from the exhibition, we will go on a voyage of discovery through the museum building and learn exciting facts about the creation of the mre.

Experience a selection of works of the Reinhard Ernst Collection in the rooms that were especially created for it. With an expert guide, we will explore the permanent exhibition Colour is Everything! after you have discovered the concepts and design elements of Fumihiko Maki’s architecture in our temporary exhibition Fumihiko Maki and Maki & Associates – Towards Humane Architecture. You will not only learn about the museum’s creation, but also about individual highlights in the collection.

Up to 20 people can take part in our group offers. Larger groups will be divided. Please note the group size when reserving the guided tour.
Please reserve your group guided tour at least 1 week before the desired date. After we have checked the availability of our team, you will receive a booking confirmation from us.
You will pay for your reserved group tour and admission tickets at the museum’s ticket desk on the day of your visit.
Please allow sufficient time during your visit to store your bags and jackets in the lockers. You will find those in the basement.
The reservation can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the appointment. Thereafter 50% of the fee will be charged.
