Film Screening and Talk with Daniel Hollegha

Come and discover the fascinating Austrian painter Wolfgang Hollegha until 25 October 2026.

To mark the end of the exhibition Wolfgang Hollegha. Don’t Think, Look!, we will be screening Konrad Weixelbraun’s documentary The Hero outside the Spotlight about the artist at the Maki-Forum on 25 October 2026 at 12.30 pm.

Join us for the film screening, followed by a Q & A session with Daniel Hollegha, the artist’s son, and the director! After the film, Daniel Hollegha will give an insight into one of the works on display in the exhibition galleries. If you would like to attend to the latter, please purchase your reduced admission ticket (€12) online or at the museum ticket desk before the event.

12.30: Screening of the documentary about Wolfgang Hollegha in the Maki Forum. (Duration: 45 minutes)

1.30 pm: Q&A session with Daniel Hollegha and the director Konrad Weixelbraun

1.45 pm: Deep dive into one of Wolfgang Hollegha’s works with Daniel Hollegha in the exhibition galleries.

Admission fee: €8 for the film screening and talk, plus €12 reduced entry ticket to the exhibition (optional)
