Which bags can be taken into the exhibition rooms?
As a rule of thumb: Bags smaller than A4 may be taken into the rooms. Backpacks, no matter how big, must always be handed in.
Which coins are required for the lockers in the basement?
1 Euro or 2 Euro coins, please do not insert plastic chips. Metal chips are issued at the cash desk.
Can I take a pushchair or pram into the exhibition?

Is there seating / exhibition chairs that I can take into the exhibition rooms?
There is no seating in the foyer. There is plenty of seating available in the basement and in the exhibition rooms as well as in the corridors on the first and first floors. If you are staying longer in the foyer, please ask the ticket staff for a stool. Please note that these may not be taken into the exhibition rooms.
Where can I leave my umbrella?
Please lock your umbrellas in the umbrella stand in front of the museum entrance, our supervisory staff will be happy to help you.
Walking sticks / walking poles / umbrellas that also function as walking sticks or supports
Please note that walking sticks are only permitted if they have a rubberised tip, otherwise there is a risk of them scratching the floor.
Are there discounts for pensioners?
No, there are no discounts for pensioners. You can find information on discounts and free admission here
Can I use my ticket to leave the museum and come back in between visits?
Yes, because your admission ticket is a day ticket.
