Opening ticket for the exhibition Wolfgang Hollegha. Don’t Think, Look!

Admission for the opening day of the new temporary exhibition on 15 March 2026.

German premiere: On 15 March, we celebrate the spectacular rediscovery of one of Austria’s most internationally successful painters – Wolfgang Hollegha (1929–2023). Experience the European master of Abstract Expressionism.

Programme:

• 12:30 p.m. Curator’s tour with Lea Schäfer (meeting point for all tours: Maki Forum)

• 2:00 p.m. Guided tour with Daniel Hollegha, the artist’s son

• 3:00 p.m. Film screening on Wolfgang Hollegha in the Maki Forum, followed by a Q&A session with Daniel Hollegha

• 4:00 p.m. Director’s tour with Dr Oliver Kornhoff

• 5:00 p.m. Film programme on Wolfgang Hollegha in the Maki Forum

All day:

• Guides on demand in the exhibition rooms

• Workshop for children and young people on the 1st floor

• Styrian delicacies by gollner’s can be purchased at the bar.

Your day ticket entitles you to admission to all exhibition rooms during the opening day on 15 March 2026.
